Our Gallery Of Visual Symbols

Welcome! This is where you can purchase individual visual symbols and order as few as just one if you would like to. There are two ways that you can do this:

Your two choices

• Pick and Mix Visuals — you receive the visual exactly as you see it on this page, with the border colour you see on this page.
• Personalised Visuals — you would like changes to the visuals. If you would like any change whatsoever, this requires a different method of sending to print and therefore will be classed as a personalised visual.

What do we mean by personalising? By personalising, we mean we can change the colour of items in the visuals, including the colour of the border, plus we can change the wording. Occasionally we might be able to 'borrow' part of a visual — for example, we could take the dog from Farm and make it a dog on its own. If you are not sure if we can do something, please just contact us and ask before ordering.

Sizes available

When choosing our visuals you can choose between 3 different sizes:

• Small — 5.5 x 4.5 cm, as found in our Communication Books & Visual Planner, Feelings and Calming Charts, and Morning and Bedtime Routine Charts
• Standard — 6 x 5.5 cm, as found in our Visual Timetable for Children, and Now and Next Board with Visuals for Children.
• Large — 8 x 7 cm, as found in our keyrings and Visual Timetable for Nursery: Whole Group Version, and Childminders, and Visual Timetable for School: Whole Class Version

Ordering photos

If you would prefer to have photos on your cards rather than visual symbols, we can happily print these for you as long we they are your own photos. We recommend that you send them landscape orientation, have the main person or item filling as much of the photo as possible, and make sure they are not too dark. 

Please note we cannot use screenshots or photos of anybody else's artwork. So - we can't use stock photos, anybody else's visuals, logos or images of a TV or book character. This would be an infringement of copyright so please don't ask us to do this. Thanks for your understanding. 

How to order photos on our visuals: Please select the correct number of blank visual cards from the gallery below and make a note in the personalisation box that you will email us the photo. Please then email your photos to us at hello@createvisualaids.com. 

Our Time Frame

The cut off date for ordering visuals is a Thursday afternoon. If you have ordered personalised visuals we will then email you a draft version of these for you to view and approve. All visuals will then be sent to print the following Monday (subject you approving any personalised orders) and dispatched the following Friday.
